Welcome to the John Howard Society of Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton. We are a local non-profit organization that provides a range of community programs designed to help address crime when it occurs and to provide services that contribute to crime prevention. We remain committed to effective, just and humane responses to crime and its causes.

Our mission is to reduce crime and its causes through Prevention, Intervention and Education.
